Dr Juhani Tuovinen has held a number of senior roles in universities and with private education providers, including as Associate Professor in Education at the University of Sunshine Coast, at the Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education and the Australian Institute of Business (AIB). He began his professional career working as a teacher in Victorian, Northern Territory and South Australian schools. On the completion of his Master of Education at LaTrobe University he worked as an education lecturer/researcher at Charles Sturt University and after completing his doctoral studies he worked as a research academic at Monash University and other universities. After University of Sunshine Coast he moved to Tabor Adelaide, a private Christian higher education provider, where he was in turn Dean of Education, Head of Humanities and Performing Arts, Director of Research, and Director of Teaching and Learning, as well as being a Board Member of Tabor Adelaide and serving on the Academic Board for a number of years. Subsequently, he undertook a consultancy for the AIB ethics committee development and then a review of the research degrees for the accreditation of the postgraduate research programs. This led to work with both AIB and the Global Centre for Work Applied Learning (GCWAL) as Associate Professor, specifically focusing on the learning aspects of Work-Applied Learning and research supervision for AIB.

Dr Tuovinen is now a Professor at Sheridan College, Perth and Dean of Education at the College. His expertise is in research processes, research degree supervision, the implementation of Christian education in science, mathematics and ICT education, the application of cognitive science to learning and education, international education and curriculum studies.

Dr Ray Dallin emigrated to Australia in 1970 after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, Canada. He lectured at the Western Australian Institute of Technology (now Curtin University) from 1972 where he helped found the School of Marketing. During this time he was seconded for two years by the Education Department to be the Head of Marketing at Canning and Tuart Colleges, and was appointed to a one-year term as a Visiting Lecturer to the University of Virginia (USA) while on study leave. In 1985, he left academia to work as a Marketing Manager for three local companies and completed his Masters of Commerce. In 1989 Dr Dallin was appointed Manager of Executive Programmes and Senior Lecturer at the UWA School of Management, and in 1994 returned to Curtin University to serve as Director of Executive Programmes and Senior Lecturer at the Curtin Graduate School of Business. From 1998-2011, Dr Dallin served as CEO of first Kingsway Christian College, and then Rehoboth Christian College, while completing his Doctor of Education (Leadership), before being appointed as WA State Director Christian Schools Australia (CSA).

Dr Dallin has served on a number of not-for-profit boards, including Mission Australia, Perth City Mission, and Sonshine FM, and today serves on the Board or Tabor Bible College (Perth) and Asia Evangelistic Fellowship International. He has worked as a marketing consultant for a range of private and public organisations, and carried out executive training for private companies, financial institutions and government departments, including but not limited to the Australian Institute of Mangement (AIM), Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Department of Youth Sport and Recreation, Credit Union Assocation, DEET, Western Mining/Alcoa and Singapore Airlines. Over the last 14 years, Dr Dallin has also organised a number of state education conferences with well-known national and international speakers.

Dr Leitao graduated from the Western Australian College of Advanced Education (now Edith Cowan University) with a Diploma of Teaching (K-7) in 1988, and was appointed to her first teaching position at John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School (formerly Northside Christian School) the following year. In 1994, she began working for Beechboro Christian School, where she served in a variety of teaching and administrative roles, including as Assistant Principal. While employed at Beechboro Christian School, Dr Leitao completed a Bachelor of Education with Honours in 1996, majoring in Early Childhood Studies, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Education) in 2008. Since 1997, Dr Leitao has also worked for Edith Cowan University in course coordination, lecturing, tutoring, professional practice supervision, unit development and research. In 2013, Dr Leitao began tutoring MEd students in Morling College's external studies program.

Dr Leitao has published several articles in early childhood studies and has presented at education conferences for both academics and professional teachers. Dr Leitao has also been closely engaged with the broader education community throughout her career. She has tutored at the Department of Community Development and Dyslexia-Speld Association, served as a member of the ECU School of Education Schools' Liaison Committee (Primary/ECS), and on parent committees at both Beechboro Christian School and Swan Christian College. Dr Leitao continues to serve in the Altone Early Years Network and as a Church Sabbath School leader. She maintains an active involvement with the independent school sector in Perth, including supervising pre-service teachers, inducting new staff and mentoring experienced staff at Christian schools, and has been a board member of Swan Christian Education Association since 2013.

Christine has a background in education and management and a passion for Christian education.  She qualified first as an educational administrator, then as a teacher, then as a manager and finally as a trainer for managers. She has a Master of Education and she is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute in the UK and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. Christine has travelled the world with her work in education and training. She has lived in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia as well as Australia.  She has worked with RMIT, University of Tasmania, University of Newcastle, Swinburne and Curtin University as well as Corban University in the USA, Pelita Harapan University in Indonesia and others.

Christine is currently studying a DBA in International Business Communication with a university based in Paris and her area of research is business communication in the international education sector. Her work now blends education and management for Christian providers both nationally and internationally.

18/7 Aberdeen St, Perth, in the Piccadilly Square West building.

For students, it conveniently places Sheridan College next door to McIver Train Station and a 9-minute walk from Perth Train Station. 10 parking bays will also be available for the exclusive use of staff and students, and the Aberdeen St entrance to the Newcastle St Carpark is across the road.
